It’s Friday, which means you’re looking for something to do. Maybe you’ll go see a band, or dance in a bar, or maybe have unprotected sex with a stranger in the bathroom at The Turkey’s Nest. Who knows?

Here’s some shit to busy yourself with tonight:
If you’re going to be near Don Pedro, you should pop in because Oweinama is DJing downstairs. He looks like Lawrence Fishburn and Arthur Lee and plays a lot of great music.

If you’re in Jersey City you should go by Grand Banks Cafe to see Nouvellas and Black Hollies. Both of these bands are great, so if you’re in the area, you should go!

It’s Anna Copa Cabanna’s birthday, so go wish her well tonight. She’ll be dancing at Beauty Bar all night.

But what you should really do is go by Motor City. Matty from Royal Pendletons will be DJing. Shit is TIGHT!

Saturday night:
If you weren’t in Jersey last night, you get a chance to see Nouvellas play in Brooklyn along with Daddy Long Legs and Mess Around. They’re playing at some place called The Lovin’ Cup Cafe.

If you feel like being around loud stuff go see LiveFastDie, Stalkers, and Hollywood, they’re playing at Market Hotel.

Or you could go by Glasslands for Soul Clap, a dance contest. People dance and win prizes. It’s like a white Soul Train mixed with an arrogant Price Is Right.

Sunday:
Love City and other bands will be playing at Glasslands. Go support them. Super nice kids who put on a super fun show.
