DJ Nights

1. K&M – Dylan “Otto” Bahn and Miss January 1963 return with a new name for their monthly night– the Fortress of Solidtunes. Guest DJ Lou Pine (get it? har har) from San Francisco livens things up a bit. Remember to tip your bartender– sobriety is dance floor kryptonite!
2. Home Sweet Home – Jonathan Toubin is back again, this time with guest DJ Beyonda (from Portland) — I guess it’s battle of the west coast guest DJs tonight!

SATURDAY

Another early show, this time with Jay Banerjee & the Heartthrobs, who’ve gotten a pretty good razorcake review for their 60′s pop meets powerpop sound… happening at Arlene’s Grocery (don’t groan, would you rather it was a condo?)

Jahna Rain is at the White Star Bar in NJ (Jersey City?) for a Valentine’s DJ gig (FREE)

… but probably your best bet is going to be the Valentine’s Massacre (OK guys, too many parties used this name this time. What happened to ‘cupid’ or whatever?) — an all night throwdown at loft space THE CHURCH featuring the Othermen, great DJs and a modest $5 donation/cover. It’s near Don Pedro, so figure out exactly where and we’ll see ya there.
