Monday

Oh hells yeah, Glad All Over! celebrates its one-year anniversary with a big big party at Fontana’s. For the low low price of zero dollars you can enjoy musical performances by explosive rock-n-rollers The Back CCs, crazy psych-rockers Madam Robot and The Lust Brigade and sexy punk terrorists WLWL. Watch go-go dancer Anna Copa Cabanna valiantly attempt to avoid being upstaged by Jake. DJs Derrick Mangroo and Captain Heartlock will keep you dancing all night, or at least until the party gets shut down, flooded, causes a citywide power outage, or gets attacked by giant poodles.

Tuesday

I have a hard time believing that someone actually named it Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar, but I guess that must be a real bar since the Ex-Caminos are playing a show there on Tuesday. Never been there myself, but for fans of funk and R&B this it might be worth checking out. The cover is $10 and there is a two drink minimum, but that’s for two sets.

Also on Tuesday, everyone’s favorite musical mystery meat, Hot Dog! is at Bar Matchless. Featuring DJs spinning garage rock, R&B, soul, psych, and more, 2-for-1 drinks all night and no cover. Starts at 10.
