Got your regular stuff going on tonight with Andy Maltz from Little Killers/Underthings and Dave the Spazz from WFMU spinning 50s & 60s gems at Union Pool from 10PM till 2AM and Johnny from Closed Casket/Nervous Assistant playing punk and metal from 10PM till 4AM.
Monday January 23rd
One of garagepunkNYC’s finest Twin Guns will be playing at Knitting Factory with Autumn Fire, Young Animal, Andrew Gabriel. If you’re into fuzzy, reverby, Crampsy shit then hit this up! I’m not entirely sure what those other three bands sound like, but Twin Guns will surely float yer boat! Show coasts ten buckaroos and starts at 9PM!
Plus! If you boners are looking for something to do after the show just down the street there is country night at Union Pool with Cowboy Mark & Tony from 10PM till 2AM plus yours truly will be spinning r&b, soul, & garage at Macri Park from 10PM 4AM.
Tuesday January 24th
Got both Manhattan and Brooklyn covered for Tuesday. In Manhattan there’s Take My Tuesdays Please! at the Friar’s Club in midtown with soul, r&b, and rocksteady from 8PM till late and in Brooklyn of course is the weekly bladder busting Hotdog Night at Bar Matchless with buy 1 get 1 free and kick ass DJs all damn night long from 10PM till 3AM!
