Well, its that shitty time of year again. Fuckin’ January. The worst. Cold and not jack shit going on. You’re only excuse to leave the house for probably the next couple of weeks are DJ nights. Which reminds me, its time to write up this scrawny little piece of crap. Prepare yourself for a whopper write up!
Monday January 9th
DJ Uncle Heavy will be spinning 50s, 60s, and 70s r&b and soul tonight for Blue Monday at Bar 4 in Park Slope. If this is the bar I’m thinking of then this place has a pretty fierce beer selection. I went here about three years ago and they had a booklet of beers to pick from. Pretty awesome!
Ah and now for the Monday night Union Avenue show down between Union Pool and Macri Park. Union Pool will be having its weekly country night with DJs Cowboy Mark & Tony from 10PM till 2AM while I DJ at Macri Park and throw down 50s & 60s r&b, soul, garage, exotica, and other shit from 10PM till 4AM.
Tuesday January 10th
Not much to pick from for Tuesday. As far as I know all we’ve got goin’ on here is Hot Doggin’ night at Bar Matchless with buy 1 get 1 free drink specials the whole god damn night. There will also be a rotation of DJs throughout the night to help encourage your drunken debauchery!
