Yeah, sorry about yet another goofed up week. I didn’t get settled back in the city after The Meltdown until around 10PM last night. So at that point I figured it’d be pretty pointless to try and post anything for Sunday. As for The Meltdown itself for those of you who missed out you better get your ass there next year! The rain sucked, but we didn’t let that stop us from being gettin’ good ‘n’ melted! I almost drown inside my tent due to massive leaks from being retarded and not setting the tent up right!
Monday July 30th
Alright, now onto the shit that’s going on the next few days. I suppose I’ll start things off with the shows going on tonight first. If you’re in the mood for some good ol’ straight forward punk shit then go hit up Tommy’s Tavern with Raw Meat, No Class, Dark Ages, In School, and Narc. Quite a long list for a Monday night, but I’m sure everyone’s set is about fifteen minutes long so the whole show will be about an hour long. This kicks off at 8PM and will cost ya seven BUXXX!

Next up for shows tonight is Magic Mondays r’n'r beach party at Tammany Hall with performances from Breedlove and Sorceress with some FREE BOOZE! You’re encouraged to wear beach attire tonight  while they play beach party movies in the background. I’m not sure if there’s any sort of perk for wearing said attire. I mean you already get free booze just for showing up. Maybe they give you free drugs as an added bonus if you show up wearing the requirements. Free crack if wear a speedo!

Ok, onto the DJ stuff now. I believe tonight is the final night that Fine Wine will be spinning at Ace Hotel so be sure to hit this up! He’ll be spinning killer r&b, soul, and Detroit funk all night from 8PM till 12AM!

Tuesday July 31st
You know the drill with this by now. Massive liver destruction Tuesdays! Screw you happy hour! Tuesday goes balls out with non-stop booze hound drink specials from 6PM till 3AM! For starters there’s the Technicolor Tuesday happy hour at Motor City with Captain Heartlock spinning garage, psych, and punk while Maxwell Frechette pours the booze from 6PM till 10PM. After that you can run over to Greenpoint to Bar Matchless where they have buy 1 get 1 free drinks and killer DJs all night long from 10PM till 3AM. Have fun at work the next day!
