Got ourselves another crazy Sunday with a lot of shit going on! I’ll start things off with the early bird specials! For starters there’s the third and final night for the Psychobilly Luau at The Bell House where there will a very lengthy list of bands playing. Those bands being(in order of appearance!): Radio Threat(4PM), Strikers(5PM), Danny B Harvey(6PM), Screamin’ Rebel Angels(7PM), The Recently Deceased(8PM), Speed Crazy(9PM), Bloodshot Bill(10PM), AND The Chop Tops(11PM). On top of that DJ Spy will be spinning between bands as well as a raffle and a bunch of other stuff INCLUDING a Cramps sideshow deal-a-majig called Crampus! Doors open at 3PM! $20 at the door and $17 in advance!

Today is the third installment of Lady Jay’s patio sessions for the month of July. Today they’ve got The Waivers and Graverobbers playing and of course bad ass free BBQ! Shit starts at 4PM and I’m assuming its free. Probably just gotta tip out for the BBQ.

Alright, now onto the more hangover friendly portion of the day with some later shows starting with Legion. Lady Bree Presents Francis Brady, Bradley Dean & The Terminals, The Enthusiasts, and I’m not entirely sure if The Jigglers are still playing or not. I was hanging out with Sebastian last night and he kept complaining about his throat and is apparently in the hospital now. So I’m guessing they aren’t playing anymore. Everyone be sure to text him and call him a pussy and tell him to get his ass to Legion! Also! The mighty Eric Davidson(Livids/New Bomb Turks) will be DJing all god damn night spinning rockin’ jams to cream your jeans to till 3:30AM! All this for five buxxx!

Monday July 16th
So little ol’ lonesome Mondays are now in the hands of Fine Wine & Country Night. Fine Wine from WFMU’s Downtown Soulville will be spinning at Ace Hotel throwing down awesome rare as all hell r&b, soul, jazz, & funk from 8PM till 12AM. Be sure to go there and foam at the mouth with all of Fine Wine’s goodies!

Now onto Country Night at Union Pool with Cowboy Mark & Tony! They’ll be spinning from 9PM till 2AM playing the finest honky jams all damn night!
Tuesday July 17th
Another week with a Tuesday redefining the term “Happy Hour”. Why have happy hour when you could just have happy day and drink yourself into a stupor the entire god damn day! Start your long day of drinking with Technicolor Tuesdays happy hour at Motor City with DJ Captain Heartlock and booze wench Maxwell Frechette where the Captain will be throwing down garage, psych, punk, funk, dunk, & crunk while Max swiftly combs his hair as he pours you shots! Starts at 6PM and ends at 10PM! Which then you can hit up the NEXT happy hour at Bar Matchless where there are buy 1 get 1 free drinks and bad ass DJs all night long from 10PM till 3AM! By that point I’m sure you’ll be blacked out fucking some beast-like creature in the bathroom.
